I need a beach day. This week has been less than stellar. Far, far less than stellar. So I need a day to sit in the sun. Okay, fine. I don't get to actually sit when I take the boys to the beach. I do a lot of running around, wave jumping and rinsing sand out of Little Man's mouth. But it's still fun. And I bet it'll be even more fun this summer. Little Man LOVED the beach last summer so I can only imagine how he does this summer now that he's more stable on his feet. And Buddy conquered his fear of the waves last summer. They're gonna have a blast together this year.
It's been a warm week- highs near 80 :). But the water is still too cool. Maybe by the end of the month. I hope. I really, really hope!

Tempetures near 80? Wow, you lucky duck to live where it's warm right now! Cute Summer photos!
ReplyDeleteIf you have temps near the 80s, I say it is beach time already!!! We're still wearing out winter coat here.
ReplyDeleteNothing cuter than a baby exploring on the beach!

It's in the 80's where I am too. (I wonder if we are close?) I need a beach day too. Maybe I should call in sick and drag my happy self down to the beach. Perhaps that would improve my mood?
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but kids just love sand and water. Love your shot. kaye—the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteWhat a great beach picture! Also wanted to say that I love your blog design, just lovely!
ReplyDeleteWe are in the 70's today. If we lived near the beach, we would go just to play.
ReplyDeleteI am truly southern-blooded! I just can't get my body to agree that it's a good idea to head to the beach when the water is still in the 60s! I prefer the 78 and above, but I'll settle for 72. We typically don't see 72 degree water until April. And taking my kids to play at the beach might sound fun but I wouldn't be able to keep them out of the cold water!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the summer can't get here fast enough!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable picture. I hope that you have that one on the wall!
